ABOUT ME

Environmentalist, vegan. Lover of books, music, nature and people. I have an interest in language and am learning German. Despite my lack of knowledge I'm always happy to discuss politics, philosophy, psychology and anything really! Liberal, easygoing, open-minded, friendly, cheerful, spontaneous.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life every day for experiences, because no-one needs money or possessions in the next life! Other people mean the world to me. I believe in karma and encouraging happiness and doing everything I personally can to make the world run smoothly. What else is there?
I also believe that animals have as much right to be here as humans and that we shouldn't use or abuse them in any way.
I think that everyone has the right to do whatever they want, as long as it won't interfere with other people in a negative or destructive way. I really hate and fight against any kind of racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia and any kind of discrimination. If you don't feel the same way as me about these values, please do not stay with me or host me. :)

New-ish to Couchsurfing and can't wait to properly get involved! I've only had a few experiences (a few as a guest and a few meets) - so I'm very much looking forward to gaining more experiences and meeting new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven't seen the Northern Lights or swum with dolphins. The things I've done that I remember to be amazing aren't really that amazing: a music festival with my two best friends, cycling through Vondelpark in Amsterdam, sitting on Hampstead Heath in London after the sun had set, wandering through Brussels alone before sunrise after my coach arrived very early, getting very very lost in Rome at midnight, meeting artists at Tacheles in Berlin. The best memories are those that you don't expect!
