ABOUT ME

Almost always willing to meet up and go somewhere fun to do whatever. I'm pretty easygoing. I've been to a lot of places, so I love to share travel stories.
While I don't think of myself as having many good stories, get me talking and I'm sure I can come up with something. And if alcohol is involved, who knows? It might be true!

PHILOSOPHY

No tried-and-true written down philosophy. Most of the time I seem to live by the seat of my pants. It gets me where I need to be, so it might be Zen, or it might be the Synchronicity Freeway.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have shown some great people around my town. I could use some work as a tour guide, but I try and do my best! Met some wonderfully friendly people that let me borrow their couches in various parts of the world; Thank you all! There are some truly good people on this site! Have run into some less share-minded people that seem to abuse it, but luckily very few.

Música, películas y libros

I am a very big movie fan. A movie has to be pretty bad for me to pan it completely. I'll usually find some redeeming quality to it- cinematic angles, actors trying to overcome bad script, writers trying to bypass bad acting. Foreign and indy? Bring it on!
Pretty eclectic music-wise. But I'm finding I have less tolerance for stuff thats badly done. I will walk away from live music very easily if I think it stinks. Alternately, I've stopped into places just based on what I heard inside. New Orleans- I'm thinking of you! I appreciate a good busker.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Can teach games. Came here from Boardgamegeek.com, so I love to play and enjoy teaching new games to people. Trying to study language. Like to cook, love to eat. Do yoga a bit.
I've been lucky in showing some visitors to the area some fun things, and not gotten too lost. A tiny bit of local history got stuck in my brain and I can share it with said visitors. Don't expect a really good tour though, it's just whatever we are fortunate to find! You'll hear a lot of "I think this is over here somewhere.."

A curiosity for anything you'd like to show or share about your home town. I will usually have at least one game with me. I like a good conversation while enjoying food, or a beverage or two.
