About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Have fun.
ABOUT ME
I am an Canadian/American who is studying Geophysics in Vancouver, at UBC. I grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska and will never be able to fully leave that place, because it is too awesome. I like to be active, and ride my bike every when possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My best couchsurfing experiences have been "borrowing" couchsurfers from my friends and hosting them at my cabin in Fairbanks, Alaska. They were always interested in an adventure, and I really enjoyed showing them my favourite places in the town. Me and my friends all thought is was great fun to show the couchsurfers things they would never have known without a local to help out. I have never been surfing before, but I am looking foward to giving it a try.
Interests
I enjoy all kinds of outdoor activites, sometimes maybe too many, because they all get in the way of each other. Mainly I cycle, rock climb, hike/scramble, and have recently developed a keen interest in cross country skiing, and hopefully someday ski touring. However I don't limit myself to this, I also enjoying some videa games (mostly from nintendo 64), and love movies as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a big fan of movies, and enjoy the bad ones as much as the good ones. I also love science fiction and fantasy books, especially Robert Jordan and George R.R. Martin.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing the root glacier in Wrangell - St. Elias National Park in Alaska. It was unbelievably humungous and it has an amazing ice wall that is incredible to see.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have been trying to learn how to keep my bike in good working order for the past year or two, and I am always willing to help anyone try to fix up any bike that needs it.
