ABOUT ME

I've been spending the past four months studying abroad in Cordoba, Spain. It's been such an amazing experience, truly the opportunity of a lifetime. But before I leave Europe there so much I want to see!

PHILOSOPHY

We are each given one life to live. Make the most of it! There's so much to see and do and be, I can't get enough. Life can be as full and rewarding as you want it to be if you take risks and foster relationships with people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm brand new to the CS Project, but I would love to share my experiences and meet new people. When I have the means, I'll absolutely share my home with other couch surfers. It seems like a great program.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had an amazing experience with a family in Madrid. Having a personal connection with someone completely changed my perception of the city. It was one of the highlights of my trip.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music: I like indie-folk music (vague, I know). Some of my favorite artists at the moment are Ryan Adams, Joni Mitchell, Amos Lee, Gillian Welch.

I love reading recreationally yet I never have time for it. Great books I've read recently: A Homemade Life by Molly Wizenberg, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith, City of Thieves by David Benioff.
Currently reading: Lady Chatterley's Lover by DH Lawrence.

Movies: Gah, a lot. I won't waste your time listing them all, but a love musicals, and a few of my favorite directors are Cameron Crowe, Wes Anderson, the Cohen Brothers, Woody Allen.

I baked a four tier, 11 layer wedding cake. It was basically my first born child.

I have a lot of travel experiences and advice that I'm always happy to share. I also LOVE taking about food, cooking, eating, baking, you name it!
