HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Until now mostly surfing when travelling due to no hosting possibility but now I am open to host...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Belgium - it was my first and veeeeery positive experience.
In US I surfed in Boston, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. and met there sooo wonderful people that it only confirmed my feeling that CS is exactly my cup of tea.
Just before my Erasmus student exchange in Slovenia started, I spent one night in Ljubljana with a group of amusing locals, definitely it was the best start of SLO visit...
Then I surfed in Macedonia during hitch-hiking Balkan trip, in Montreal and Quebec City during interesting French Canada trip and after it was in the crazy San Francisco. The last experience, little bit more oriental, let's say, was Istanbul and then Iran from Tehran to the Gulf and back. Unforgettable!!!
But in fact I still feel like a rookie, and I hope you will enable me to fill up this column soon :)

兴趣

Music in (almost) all its forms, either listening, interpreting or composing, literature, friends, art, travelling, searching for knowledge in anything. I extremely love geography, history and politics. But in recent time I have the feeling that my real interest is to chat with people, get to know them and the way of their thinking.

音乐、电影和书籍

Movies? Actually anything not being too sentimental. These days mainly thrillers and psychologic dramas. But sometimes I break my doctrine and watch a romantic film :)

Music? It's difficult to say, anything that can cheer me up. But mostly classical music, and let's say Queen or RHCP from among popular music. I used to be a member of several groups (from metal through a capella to folk) and choirs and studied a while on conservatory. Play a few musical instruments, love composing, arranging and interpreting.

Books? Call me nerd, but I love fantasy books. But again, I read anything, scientific of fiction - the only measure is how it attracts me. Unfortunately, I don't have much time to read; I wish I had one spare life just to read all the books ever written :D

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Well, hitchhiking around former Yugoslavia brought me several unforgettable moments: sleeping in a ditch several meters from a highway being legitimized by Croatian police in the middle of the night, getting a lift on a tractor in western Macedonia, and once finally reaching the sea, sleeping on cliffs...

Buuut... I am still waiting for something that would make me dumb for a moment - and that's why I couchsurf!
