About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To hear as many different opinions about the world as possible.
ABOUT ME
I'm studying psychology at university in between travelling as much as possible. Right now I'm doing a semester in Boulder, CO and am loving it. I like to walk around new cities or go on hikes if there's some in the area. I am incapable of leaving the house without a book and headphones. I can and will find an opportunity to drink coffee every day. I love talking to new people, especially about politics. I love my dog and miss him so much when I'm travelling.
PHILOSOPHY
Always try to understand the other point of view.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Wollongong's not a super well-known city and it's the kind of place that you'd need a local to show you around. I'm so grateful to strangers I've met who've helped me wander around their own cities and I want to return the favour.
My favourite part of travelling is the people you meet. As much as I love seeing different scenery, the best parts of cities are always the connections you make and the stories you hear. I'm on Couchsurfing to meet people who want to show me different ways of thinking.
Interests
I cannot leave the house without headphones, every spare moment of my life I am listening to music. I also like dancing, going out or staying in, walking for ages and trying new drinks.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Blink 182, The Beatles, Missy Higgins, Jimmy Eat World and an embarrassing amount of very trashy pop
Books: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Tiny Beautiful Things, Dark Matter, Thinking Fast and Slow, anything by Matthew Reilly, Stephen King, Jodi Picoult, spy novels, fantasy, sci-fi... I'll honestly read anything.
I don't really watch movies, mostly because my attention span falls short about halfway in every time I try. But open to recommendations about movies you think might change that!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going bungee-jumping in Whistler, Canada was the most adrenaline-pumping, terrifying experience of my life. I'd do it another 100 times if I could.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: quite a bit of Italian, the basics of latin dancing, a list of books and why you should read them
Learn: why you live where you do, where you think the best coffee is, what makes you happy.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am not a fantastic chef but what I lack in cooking abilities I make up for with a lot of waitressing experience so I'm very happy to clean up after dinner.
Countries I’ve Visited
