ABOUT ME

My friends know me for my sense of adventure and my drive to be constantly on the move! I am huge into running, hiking, and outdoor fun, and I love new cultures and experiences! I run pretty much every day and love trail running especially. I'm always up for a good beer or glass of wine, and if it comes with deep conversation, I'm even more excited!

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to it's fullest. Be in control of your own destiny. Never say never. Keep an open mind. You are your worst enemy, but also your best friend.

Life will throw you lemons, but throw them back... and say, "what else you got."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I have had a couch surfing profile for a while, I've actually only officially surfed once. It was a great experience, and friends of mine have been hosts throughout the years which has led to some awesome new friendships.

A few years back, my friend Lisa and I hitch hiked the North Island of New Zealand and ended up staying with two different Kiwi families, randomly. We also did the WWOOF program and had an awesome time with 5 different families.

Back at home, I am used to people staying on my couches. Friends, family, friends of friends, etc., are always welcome.

I hope to make more friends and repay kindness shown to me through couch surfing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen the Fiords in New Zealand at Milford Sound, which were AMAZING!
I loved the Grand Cannon in Arizona and the mountains in Colorado. :) Summer or winter, they are beautiful!
I loved the four day hikes in New Zealand! We did two and both were so glorious and breath taking.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Politeness, great conversation, outgoing spirit, an adventure busy, a friend from a new place... Oh, and I cook a mean chocolate cheese cake!
