ABOUT ME

I'm relatively new to travelling, but I've absolutely fallen in love with it. I want to form those amazing experiences people write about. Currently, I'm a student who hopes to begin university next year, where? I have no idea, but I'd love to study history, politics or a language.

Interests

Writing, pop culture, travelling, history - especially Russian and Greek, politics, bludging on my uber comfy couch, blasting music and taking nice long aimless walks.

Books - Oh, this is really hard but some books I've particularly loved are: Everything is Illuminated, Gone with the Wind, The Golden Notebook, Hedda Gabler, The Bell Jar, Madame Bovary, The Hours, Lord of the Flies, The Virgin Suicides, Alice in Wonderland, Rebecca, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Lolita and Edie Sedgwick: Autobiography.

Music - Anything that speaks to me, like hardcore gangsta rap. Not really, but I do like Kings of Leon, Beach House, British India, Basia Bulat, Holly Throsby, Jeff Buckley, Dash & Will, Cat Power, Martha Wainwright, Racine, Placebo, MGMT, Little Birdy and The White Stripes.

Movies: Gone with the Wind, American Beauty, Battle Royale, Amelie, Little Miss Sunshine, The Rage in Placid Lake, The Shining (Heres Johnny!) The Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, The Usual Suspects, All About Eve, Fargo, Donnie Darko, Stand By Me, The Lord of the Rings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hyperventilating on the Great Wall of China, riding a bike through Ho Chi Minh City, braving a bus through Hong Kong, swimming in Mui Ne Beach and later, being attacked by a monkey. And also, passing VCE Legal Studies.
