Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I first heard of Couchsurfing, I thought it was the scariest idea in the world! My first experience was with an African-Swede in the suburbs of Gothenburg, Sweden ..... he took my friend & I on a tram for half an hour out of town, left us the keys to his house & we never saw him again !

I've had some great experiences with Couchsurfing & I love how it connects people with like interests all over the world :) and I've never looked back since!

I'm ridiculously curious that I often find myself stuck in the depths of Wikipedia at random times of the night. The world is an infinite learning resource, and everyone has something to offer!

I listen to all types of music! I've been to heavy metal concerts, blues bars, underground shows, raves, jazz bars, EDM/ trance festivals, pop concerts, hardstyle events, rock gigs -

and I would love to go an opera and there are so many things that I would love to try (that I'm sure I don't even know about) but I haven't had the chance yet!

I've seen Britney Spears live, I've sung in emo karaoke, I've danced the night away to Coming Soon... and one time I spent nearly half a thousand dollars in one month going to see Armin Van Buuren!

I enjoy openair cinemas - i used to watch a ton of movies and I'm always down for a good flick!

I've also discovered the joy of ebooks and how convenient they are :)
