Re-locating to Yellowknife and rejoining the real world

ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly Kiwi who loves travelling, meeting new people, and trying new things which is why my brother has managed to convince me to come and see this Yellowknife place he has been raving about. I've been backpacking for the past 6 months and am looking forward to finding a job and flat and settling back into a normal life for a while. In the real world I enjoy music, reading, cozy pubs, irreverent conversation and collecting useless information.

Using it to get settled but will be offering a new couch as soon as I'm settled in to my new place.

Touching movies like Slumdog Millionaire, ones that make you aware of a new aspect of your world like Favela Rising, movies that people make me watch that I end up enjoying like Lord of War and of course your classic chick flicks like Confessions of a Shopaholic.

Books I will read anything and everything but some of my favourites are by Mitch Albom - The 5 people you meet in Heaven, Jodi Picoult - My Sisters Keeper, Phillip Pullman and fantasy fiction of the like, Philippa Gregory and historical fiction, Wild Swans, The Kite Runner...ahh I really will read anything though.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Just recently I mountainbiked down the World's Most Dangerous road in Bolivia which was something completely different for me - I can't guarantee it's something I'll do again but I loved the experience and it's reminded me to keep pushing the boundaries.
