About Me

I am in search of new territories, experiences and people who can truly share to grow.

CURRENT MISSION:
To explore Latin America from Buenos Aires to Quito in 3 months (between February-May 2018) with my playmate and lifetime partner Volky.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Thanks to an Aussie globetrotter I met in Turkey, during his overland from Australia to Netherlands.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Anatolian-trance and every kind of "punk" (meaning cool) music from melancholics like Leonard Cohen and Lhasa to sarcastics like Paolo Conte, from triptics like David Bowie to subtropics like Mariza, and all good music I have hot heard yet.

Books:
Little Prince, Stefan Zweigs, Nabokovs, everthing from wizard of Turkish Ahmet Hamdi Tanpinar, Ottoman science-fiction or phantasy from İhsan Oktay Anar, and other wizards that I have not been introduced to yet...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Couldn't choose one among these:

+ The final whirling motion at the end of a 40-minute paragliding session in Fethiye, Turkey, when I felt like a floating bubble for a few seconds.

+ Watching the milky way, lying on a roof-top in Kekova (after a consuming sea-kayak tour) and feeling vertigo, looking into the depth of the universe like an ant glued to a big orange spinning around.

+ Running down the biggest sand dune of Europe in Arcachon (Dune du Pilat) towards the ocean, without the fear of being hurt!
