Overview
About Me
HI my name is Edgar and I’m writing you from Mexico City… the country where people drink more tequila than water and where tacos are THE basic food.
I’m a very active and energetic person. I always want to make something and help others because I know it’s correct. You won’t regret to know me because all I want to do is to be a free spirit in this world, to be in your place and learn about what you do and what is happening around. It would be a pleasure, while staying with you, to let you know about me, to tell you histories about Mexico and share with you the way I see life and the way a live it… because as it's said: “it’s cool to be little outside of the norm”
I studied Industrial Engineering from Technological Institute of Monterrey, Mexico State Campus. The last couple of years I've work in logistics, supply chain and consultancy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m looking to go for adventures and make different things, I have this feeling of traveling growing inside of me and I have a tremendous desire to follow it, go out there and see what am I able to do or experience. A few years ago I read that one of the most rewarding things that we can do is traveling. Going out of your comfort zone, face different situations and be part of different cultures makes us grow as a human being and we can be sure that at the end of our days we won’t regret it. In 2014 I went to Brazil to volunteering and work in NGOs. It was a beautiful experience and I really enjoyed. I learned that we have to work as a team on order to make ideas tangible and change world, or at least part of it. It was the first time I left Mexico and since then I promised myself to do this for the rest of my life, to help others and try to change the way we think.
And of course I want to know more about the world and its citizens. To know how you think and how you see the world. To share with you more about me, my family and my country.
