Hello, my name is Edgar. I'm 32 years old and work for Con Edison in NYC. My wife, Laurie, and I met 11 years ago and have always loved to travel. We've been to Mexico, Puerto Rico, New Orleans, Florida, Hawaii and multiple road trips in our area (Boston is one of our favorite cities; behind NY of course). We bought our house in 2008 and renovated the whole house. We loved having family and friends over for parties and football (NY Giants!). Last year we decided to sell our house; originally to downsize but eventually we decided that this would be the perfect time to realize our lifelong dream to travel the world. We are currently planning to take 6 months to ourselves and go to Europe, Asia and South/Central America. We are looking forward to seeing new sites, drinking/eating different things and most of all experiencing different cultures and meeting great people.

The wife and I are trying to make our way around the world and what better way to learn about different cultures than living with and breaking bread with locals?

Interests

Fitness, specifically Crossfit as I am an L1 coach. Anything comic related. I've gone to Walker Stalker Con and NY Comic Con. We've done multiple beer/food fests around the metro area. I also play softball and flag football.

Music, Movies, and Books

Thanks to my wife my music tastes are expanding. We listen to a little bit of everything except for heavy metal music. As far as movies and books, I'm a in to comics and Sci-Fi. Huge Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead fan. Current reads include a lot of travel books and I'm looking to start reading Harry Potter series.
