Hello there! My name is Edgaras and I am addicted to travelling, politics and challenges! My motto is if it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you. I bravely accept challenges and admire people who do the same. Life without any of them would be much less interesting, wouldn't it?

I am always very happy to meet with new people coming from all over the world. This helps to broaden my horizons and learn something what I couldn't have thought of learning! I am very open-minded and tolerant, I never discriminate other people, and I believe that I developed this through travelling and meeting people from all other the Globe. Don't you agree with me that it's fantastic to have friends in all continents and be sure that you will meet some of them on your next travel? I find it fascinating :)

I am very interested in politics, therefore, if you're interested as well, we should definitely meet. I'd never say for a constructive political debate! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have hosted several people and it was a lot of fun! I have also surfed couches and I actually enjoy this way of travelling, as I am able to get more from my trip - not only that I see the place, but I am able to make friends there and learn something from the trip. I think that CS is a great cultural school and that everyone should attend it!

However, unfortunately now I am unavailable to host, but would gladly meet up for a pint, coffee or tea.

Also, I don't understand people who are on Couchsurfing, however, do not bother to respond to couch requests. This is very odd. It's understandable that you may be unavailable for the given dates, but it takes only a couple of minutes to respond.

Interests

a) Politics: I am politically active and see it as my future career. Always admire learning more about different countries via having a political debate with a person. It shows how different yet similar we all are.

b) Languages: They open a lot of new routes! Through learning a language (and I speak six of them) I was able to learn a lot about the culture, traditions and customs of a country where this language is spoken. I never learn a language just for the sake of being able to talk, I always pick up a significant amount of culture while learning.

c) Travelling: I love experiencing new countries and meeting locals.

Books: Stieg Larsson Trilogy, Albert Camus, Paulo Coelho. However, I mostly read historical and political books.

Movies: I'm more into TV series than movies :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Woke up in the dessert and saw the sun rise. Truly unbelievably feeling.
