About Me
Live and let live.
I try to enjoy everything I can - time is the most important currency - and unfortunately, no one loves forever.
I am a hardcore field biologist. I play the electric guitar (solo guitar for blues, rock, old style hard rock, jazz - check my musical tastes and you'll get the picture). I built my own watercooled computer for science work but also for playing games (not those for kids, please). I love to read and to listen to audiobooks when I have no time to read (which is most of the time)...
I go away in the middle of parties for no particular reason.
I am happy and love to talk to people if the conversation is honest and meaningful.
I love to have intelligent conversations with anyone from any walk of life (please don't confuse that with fake intellectualism, I really have no patience for that).
Actually I would like to talk about any subject except crass ideas or injustice.
Injustice and dishonesty really piss me off.
I believe my freedom ends where yours starts. I respect people as long as they do the same to me and to others. I don't like fights or angry discussions but I will freak out with anyone being unjust to me or others. I am a pacifist by definition.
I am ready to try any point of view and I am open to believe you come for outer space. Don't worry, I'll hear you out, although that does mean I'll necessarily believe in what you say. But I'll be respectful to your ideas. Convince me! I will give you an honest chance at least.
I am a scientist and so, I love experimenting.
I am not unhealthily skeptical but I am not gullible either.
I am a bit too honest and might tell you my deepest secrets straight away. Yep, that's true. Although I probably shouldn't have written it here...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, this is a hard one...
I am easily amazed by a lot of stuff that I have done but, strangely, other people tend to be amazed by the fact that I lived in Japan for 6 years doing my MSc and my PhD (was fun).
Too many things I have done amaze me personally although I can't guess what would amaze you. People live so interesting lives! Why don't we exchange stories in person?
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach whatever you want that I know.
Learn whatever you know.
Share experiences, food and good times.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Respect, kindness and ideas. I can fix your computer, your electronics, your plumbing, your electrical installation... If you have the tools (I like fixing things). I can't cook but I'll buy food and drinks. Cheers!
