Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Previously used to be 2 times a host for international people in my hometown Riga, Latvia. Once in Elsfleth.

I was showing them around the city, cooking for them and it was a terrific experience. For them too (I asked).

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Well, there are bunch of things I could try to teach or share. I love basketball, both watching and playing. In my free time I also like swimming which frees the mind and soul during stressful times.
I´m generally quite indifferent to other sports (even I dare to say - to football), but I'm always eager to try doing some other new things myself like paddling, sailing, cricket, lacrosse, etc. Would really like to try kitesurfing or surfing once.

Lately my new hobbies became my bike and my car. Never thought I would ever be interested in cars, but..see..you never know.=P

By-the-way, I speak a bunch of languages and sometimes I even forget about the fact I speak some of them really well. So, in case you are learning any one of them (Russian, Latvian, English, German, Spanish), be my guest and let's talk!

Apart from sports and languages I could teach you some useful skills in MS Excel if you are having some trouble creating charts, pivot tables, formating data sets, etc.. But if you are travelling and basically enjoying your vacation, I'm sure that will be the last thing you want me to teach you...like...whatever... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
