About Me

Well, I'm working in university. My main hobby for more than 15 years is playing in a band (at this moment I have rehearsals 3 times a week and you can join to them if you want). Oh, and I really like craft beers, mostly IPAs (wink, wink, if you want to bring some present for me, but don't know what kind of).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's a really cool way to get insights of different cultures, find out new things about other countries and see stuff with eyes of local folks.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite metal and rock genres are doom, stoner, psychedelic, folk, progressive, thrash, NWOBHM and so on. But I'm also opened up to good jazz, blues, Motown soul, old-school pop music. So I'm listening almost to everything, except emo, retarded modern pop and this kind of bull excrements.

Speaking about movies I really like comics related stuff (mostly Marvel, but DC also is cool), Sci-Fi, historical thingies, mysteries, psychological thrillers, B-rates also are edible for me.

Books... Hmm. I have to admit that I'm not a bookworm, but meanwhile I have a lot of books about military history, general history, factbooks. Yeah, I really like facts. Like, of everything. Sometimes I feel like a Ted Mosby.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just visited a really big music festival in Europe (Summer Breeze 2017). This was one hell of an experience, because this was my first musical festival abroad.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you some licks and chords on a bass guitar, ukulele or guitar.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Kitchen stuff, some pillows and blankets.
