About Me

Not at address lately, but write me and I can help set something up with someone nearby!

I am easygoing and down to earth. I am talkative and outgoing, to the extent of still needing and giving space. I am sympathetic, and people loving.
I adore cultures and observing mannerisms, as well as listening to a foreign language, although I try hard to familiarise myself with it promptly.
I like calmness, although the spontaneous is not at all frightening. Slowly moving towards greater appreciation of stability.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The drive, is the human interaction. The insight gained through a new perspective. The happiness at receiving kindness. The stories from lives you didnt live in places you didnt experience.

Concieving the previously inconcievable through cultural, social and moral exchange.

And of course it is a great way to see a place and avoid all the boring places in a new town.

Interests

Food, travel, stories, juggling, trying (slowly) to play guitar, languages.

Calm awareness, creativeness, writing!, reading, sunshine.

Music, Movies, and Books

The doors, pink floyd, sharpe + zeros, velvet underground, john butler, mingus and jazz in general. Most classical music although not very well known in those realms.

Into the wild, resevoir dogs, from dusk til dawn, detachment, living on one dollar, lord of the rings and star wars, fear and loathing in las vegas

The alchemist, murder of a chemist, the zahir, shadow of the wind, mo and me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

10-hour shift in kindergarten

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to cook a nice vegetarian dish, and how to say "Mussolini was a piece of shit, and I flip him over with a fire extinguisher" - in Italian.

I would love to learn about the different social structures in your culture, your country's political system and situation, and about your profession. Chances are you'll know a lot, about things I know nothing about! That is a wonderful chance to share passions and knowledge.

Then obviously afterwards, we will indulge in conversations reflecting our personal values, and we will try to grow through our attempts to understand.

I want to share with you, kind, warm and attentive moments. We will share some of our precious! time together. And create a kind of fusion brain when we share wisdom, and fusion soul when we share our stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My biased attempt at a balanced opinion. Warm embrace. Honesty. Poetry. Lessons learned, and lessons going through. Some nice food also. Walks. Sitting in the sun. Quiet.

Countries I’ve Visited
