Stephan, my boyfriend and me are on travelling for almost 1 1/2 year on land- and seaway from Germany to Australia. We did all the way via Poland, Russia, Mongolia, China, Vietnam and Laos by bus and train. In Laos we bought a motorbike and went to Cambodia. In Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia we also took the ferries. But till now, we are still on the way without any plane. We didn't use couchsurfing before, cause we knew Southeastasia before and it's pretty easy to meet people, locals or tourists. And you can live there very cheap. But know the Moment to go to Australia seems to come closer, so that we would be really happy, if we can use couchsurfing
a) to arrive slowly in this totally new country for us,
b) to live together with the locals and
c) to share/ save the coasts.
