Hi everyone ! 👋 I am Edith, a young traveler coming from France. 😊 I will be studying at McGill University (Montreal, Canada) for the whole year, and during this period of time, I would love to meet new people and share my culture with all of you guys !

My last travel was a solo trip to Costa Rica during one month, I met lots of people and I made very good friends, and I'm willing to do the same in Canada :) I have already used Couchsurfing in Costa Rica and I had a very good experience !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to share my culture and discover other countries' cultures ! I am a big traveler, so if you want to sit at a café and talk about travelling, i'll be totally on for this :) Or even travel with other people would be great !

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to sing and dance to songs playing in the car when you're on a roadtrip, like 90's best travel songs! It's a whole vibe :) I enjoy watching lots of different types of movies : thrillers, comedy, tragedy, romance, western, old Charly Chaplin films, but no horror films (I'm scared...) !!
I have many favorite movies because I am a fan of cinema, among which are : Dancing with wolves, Titanic, Shutter island, The Sixth sense, Todos lo saben (Everybody knows), En Corps (a french movie on the theme of dancing which is breathtaking). I used to read a lot when I was younger and my favorite books were : Agathe Christie's novels, Harry Potter Saga, Divergent Saga ... and I'm currently reading "DUNE" (by Frank Herbert) and the famous "On the Road" (by Jack Kerouac) !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a complete solo-trip to Costa Rica, for one month ! And I made new friends for life, incredible friends from any different contries, met either on couchsurfing, or by other means. I went by myself and people around me were scared for me, but not me because you have to live your life the way you want and not waste a second waiting for others to accompany you! :D
