About Me
Hi! My name is Ediyie (pronounced ehh-dee-ya).
I'm an American gal who decided to follow her heart and make travel a priority.
I completed an awesome solo trip around Asia in 2017 (Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Vietnam). It was lovely to make connections with locals and fellow travelers. I enjoyed discovering what makes each city and country so unique and amazing!
After a year of no int'l travel, I'm happy to say this May/June 2018 I will be doing a solo trip around Western Europe (Spain/ France/UK) for a month. I'm very excited to get back on the road!!
Feel free to message me for more info!! 😄
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here because I enjoy visiting different parts of the world and meeting like-minded travelers.
The best parts of my trips have been sharing really memorable moments with people I've just met at a meetup or a hostel. I really enjoy language and cultural exchanges...I'll help you with your English and you can help me learn your language :D
I'd like to learn about what issues (positive or negative) are affecting locals. I appreciate hearing the views of locals versus mainstream media. I have learned a great deal about a city or country this way.
I've done a few unofficial couchsurfing arrangements (i met hosts on walking tours or at hostels) and I've also done Workaway.
