From a young age I've been fascinated by cultures different to my own and my only wish would be to experience them all first hand.

ABOUT ME

No pressure right?
I'm an easy going sort of dude with a fair few stories up my sleeve. I'm not afraid of shooting the breeze with a stranger at the bus stop and am often found behind a pad or computer writing absolute garbage. I'm all about the adventure and have a major case of the Wanderlust. My biggest weakness is filling out profile descriptions of myself.

Without getting too deep'n'meaningful, I believe the positive energy one person can bring to the world is enough to change it for the better.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am completely inexperienced in couch surfing besides that one time I stayed at my mate Ben's house for a week.

I enjoy: Film, music, writing, reading, exercise, video games, languages, things that I can eat, things that I can drink, things that make me laugh, things that make other people laugh and most of all the world outside my front door.

Music, Movies, and Books

Aw man, don't make me choose. As a general guide;
I love the Coen Brothers, Wes Anderson and almost anything with a laser in it somewhere.
Love all kinds of music but I'm a lyrical kinda fella, so stuff with interesting or intricate texts is my jam.
I'm no librarian grade scholar but I enjoy me some Hemingway, Oscar Wilde and more recently Dostoevsky.

Scuba diving off Australia's great barrier reef was pretty awesome :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd be more than willing to share my knowledge of English (or even Kiwi English for the extra brave) and I'd relish the chance to better my German.
I'm mostly interested in a chance to share cultures and see how the northern hemisphere live :)
