Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

While I'm not usually a very social person, in traveling alone for a long period I found of great importance having the opportunity to meet someone to spend some time with. Couchsurfing seems the ideal way of doing it.

Interessen

I really like having immersive experiences, so I tend to get fully involved in my passions, losing myself in my activities.

Since when I was a kid one of my greatest passions are percussion instruments. At the beginning I started with playing the drums, but more recently I got into hand percussions.

I really like spending my time in nature, in calm and vast places.

I also listen to a lot of music and I'm always searching for new tipes of sound. From classical to progressive (rock or metal), from folk to jazz. I happen to fall in love with peculiar tones some percussion instruments can produce, leading to a new type of music listening.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I spent one month in India when I was 6, as I followed my parents and their Yoga masters. I think I've changed a lot during that period, even if I was too young to fully understand the experience.

Last summer I traveled alone by train from Rome to Abisko, in Swedish Lapland. Other than the true beauties I have seen in the north, I found really impressive being with no one in those wild and distant lands. Even if I enjoyed the moments of solitude I've had, many of my greatest memories are with the people I met during the trip.
