Travel Mission I guess the older I get, the more I begin to realize how shitty work and bills are, and how awesome living out of a backpack, meeting awesome people and seeing amazing places in the beautiful world we live in, is just too awesome to pass up

ABOUT ME

Wow... hmm... Well I'm 25, just got out of a year long relationship and am ready to have nothing to tie me down. No bills, no 9-5 job M-F, no clutter, just the things I carry in my backpack. I love meeting new people. I don't hang in a big group, I only have about 6 "core" friends I see almost everyday. But through my travels I have become lifelong friends with many people all over the world. I don't know why, but traveling just does that. I am so excited to get traveling again. And until then my couch is OPEN! So please come stay, exchange stories, and tell me where to go!
UPDATE: 11/9/08
So Im 26 now.. Back with the girl, but away from her now because I got a new job traveling around the country selling products at state fairs, home and garden shows etc. Because of the fact that i travel full time now, I no longer have a house or couch to host. But will again soon! Sorry!! But the last 6 months traveling and couchsurfing has been a wonderful amazing experience thanks to couchsurfing.com!

New Update Jan 2010

Well I gave up the traveling working gig, and found a job in Portland, moved down and within a year of moving here... I got fired from my job. Wohoo... So my whole plan of saving money to travel again is kinda shot at this moment. I'm currently living with a roommate who is kinda apprehensive of the whole CS thing, so unfortunately I can not host anyone at this time, But I've got tons of free time and am always looking for company.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm 27 and am not getting any younger. The world is a HUGE place, and I just want to be able to expirence any part of the world for as long as I want. I will work when I can find it. Volunteer when I can, listen and learn all there is to learn. And with this gained knowledge hopefully spread the message to others. And to show people how awesome this world is.

Interesses

Traveling, the outdoors, hiking, camping, mountain biking, flying airplanes, DISC GOLF!!! I like taking pictures, cooking, meeting interesting people (anyone who travels is interesting to me) Coffee, talking, Pass the Pigs game. Driving, all forms of racing.
