HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Actually I´m travelling and CS is a good way to meet people from everywhere.
So, I try to be part of all the CS meetings. I really appreciate when someone can host me and I must say that all the moments shared with CS people have been very good experiences.

I also expect host couchsurfers in Colombia or Toulouse, in France. Actually, I just found a flat in Toulouse after a long trip and I'm ready for hosting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had really good experiences in CS. In France, I visited several cities with CS members. In Chili, I met people from CS in Valparaiso and I traveled around Patagonia. In Brazil I traveled with a friend and we found nice people in Salvador de Bahia, Fortaleza and Recife. I was recently traveling in Rusia and I had the chance to meet people in St Petersbourg and Moscow.

I need ART in my life, I draw and paint (since some years ago) in a way to meditate and discover myself. Music, cinema, travels and history. Literature is also important for me, I like reading poetry in a way to become more sensitive. Among my favourites writers are: Garcìa Marquez, Cortazar, Neruda, Hesse, Zweig, Shakespeare, Victor Hugo...

I like learning languages: it's a way to see the world with other words, expressions.

My favourite book is: One hundred years of solitude.
I really like music and can't live without.

I like jazz (singers such as Nina Simone and Billie Holiday. Duke Ellington, Django, Miles Davis, Thelonous Monk, ..).
The basilien music is one of my favorites : Caetano, Gilberto Gil, Elis Regina, Chico Buarque, ...
Of course, all the Colombian´s rhythms: Salsa, Cumbia, Currulao...
Latinoamerican artist such as: Silvio Rodriguez, Victor Jara or Violeta Parra..

The electro music is also one of my favourites , Djs such as Nicola Cruz, Nicolas Jaar, El buho...

When I was living in Colombia, I had never imagined to live in France. Now, I've living here for 10 years! I met a lot of people from everywhere, It has been a great experience to live in another country, learning new things everyday !
I stopped my work and travelled for 2 years! I had wished about that and I'll try to do it more frequently!
