About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live based on whim and spontaneity rather than settling into the grind. To meet and get to know all walks of life. To allow my perspective of this world to evolve through travel, knowledge-seeking, and adventure.
ABOUT ME
I'm a recently returned Peace Corps Cameroon volunteer looking forward to 6 months of freedom before starting grad school in Fall 2016, where I'll pursue a Masters in Public Health. Until then, I'll be living, working, and enjoying in the Bay Area!
Family, friends, food, travel, and the pursuit of knowledge and understanding are the most important things in my life.
PHILOSOPHY
Be good, do good. Keep your mind open and active. Take it easy and enjoy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My experience with "official" couchsurfing (ie through use of this website) has been minimal. But I've slept on the couches of many generous and hospitable friends of friends throughout my travels, and have offered up mine in the same fashion, and it always makes for a good time!

Music, Movies, and Books
I HATE THIS QUESTION! My taste in all of the above is varied, and favorites evolve over time. I guess you could say my go to musical genres are classic rock and folk, and my taste in movies ranges from the Jim Carey classics of my childhood to over the top action flicks to deep, dark films that make you want to cry under a blanket for hours. A few recently read favorites include All the Light You Cannot See, Let Me Explain You Something and Americanah,
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to share my knowledge and love for dance with anyone who will listen. I can also teach you some yoga!
A few things I'd like to learn:
*how to play a friendly, casual game of ANY type of sport without looking like a complete fool
*basic car mechanics
*chess
*Spanish (beyond what I know from high school)
