About Me

I was raised in São Paulo, but since childhood I have always traveled to various places in Brazil with family and friends.

When I was younger, I had a rock band that was successful in Brazil and some places in Europe, but I ended up having to abandon my musical career to finish masters / doctoral studies.

I worked as Luthier, researcher of the demographic census, IT analyst, university professor and mathematical engineering researcher.

In my free time I like to go out with friends to chat, live gastronomic experiences, and eventually make beer.
I love nature and extreme adrenaline rides, mainly linked to motor racing.

Currently I have invested my time and studies in projects related to crypto-currencies and Financial Education, focused mainly on voluntary work.
My goal is to be able to work 100% remote so that I can travel the world knowing new cultures and making great friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies with strong moral ideas that cause reflection also excite and inspire me, especially when they are based on real facts. I really like movies with complex plots and puzzles, where attention and reasoning are needed to predict the final outcome. My favorite director is David Lynch, but I also like Tarantino, Almodovar, Kubrick and others. Here are my favorite movies:

The Count of Monte Cristo
Into the Wild
Mulholland Drive
The Big Short
The Theory of Everything
The Wolf of Wall Street

Ever since I was a kid, I've enjoyed cop books like Sherlock Holmes, but it was Dan Brown who fascinated my imagination the most. Recently I have been more interested in readings that bring deep moral and philosophical reflection. Gary Zukav was an important author who made me re-evaluate my lifestyle for a better quality of life.

Inferno (Dan Brown)
Steppen Wolf (Hermann Hesse)
The Heart of the Soul: Emotional Awereness (Gary Zukav)
The Shack (William P. Young)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- When I was Luthier, I had the opportunity to play the guitar of great idols like Malmsteen and Steve Morse.
- When I had a band, I performed together with big bands like Angra, Sepultura, Dr.sin, Matanza, Velhas Virgens.
- I have a collection of over 50 Rubik cubes and I have learned to solve all
- I drove more than 200 km / h in an autodrome
- On my trip to Peru, I was able to cross the disputed Huayna Picchu trail. When we arrived at the moon temple, we found a very rare (and scary) Big Spider
- I learned to ride a bicycle at the age of 26, and two days after try the first time, I went down the "road of death" :-P (Yungas, Bolivia)
- During a trip my car had a problem in brake system, in road there was no one to fix it and I was late for an important meeting. I drive 700km in intense traffic and rain on the montain, and using only the transmission as a brake LOL.
- When I visited Poznań at Poland, the bus ticket machine swallowed my money wet from the rain. To get to Fort VII before closing, I had to walk for 2 hours in the rain at -8ºC, but it was worth it. It was, without a doubt, the most impressive experience of my life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have always enjoyed studying and learning, but I think a great learning in life comes from living with people.

I can talk a lot about engineering, math, quantum and astronomy, economics, psychology, cars, beer, crypto currency, smart grids, but of course nothing will be more interesting and funny than my personal life stories.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bolivia, Chile, Germany, Peru, Poland, Turkey
