About Me

Hello! My name is Eduardo, but you can call me Edu. Im from Argentina, Im 29 years old and im a chef. Im currently unemployed, but I have recent experience in different kitchens in Europe (Barcelona, Ibiza and Amsterdam)
In addition to cooking, I like to spend time watching movies, listening to music, reading and going out with friends.
But if I need to select only one hobbie I choose the photography. I really love to take photos, and i spend a lot of time (and money!) On it, buying equipment and learning by myself. It's my dream to work as a photographer in the near future.
I like pets (I love cats!) And I love to travel and meet new people. In the last two years I travel a lot, going to more than 15 countries and knowing more than 70 cities. I love to meeting new culture, new ways to live, and then could share what I saw through my photos.
As a gastronomy employee, I value respect for others very much. Whether client, guest, host, roommate or neighbor, everyone deserves to respect their space.
I am open to live new experiences .. I hope you open your doors!

¡Hola!
Y me encanta viajar y conocer gente nueva.
Estoy abierto a vivir nuevas experiencias. ¡Espero me abran sus puertas!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in couchsurfing because I love traveling and getting to know new cultures, and I think there's no better way to know a culture than to live with a local resident. Observe their routines, their lifestyles, taste their meals ..
And as I learn from my hosts, I also like to teach them everything I can get from mine. And being a chef, I can not deny that through some dish I can teach you a lot about my Argentina!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a football lover, a great experience I had was to witness the match between Barcelona FC and PSG in March 2017, at the Camp Nou in Barcelona. That match ended 6-1 with a goal in the last minute that qualified the local team to the next instance of the UEFA Champions League.

Also as a fan of Boca Juniors of Argentina, I have repeatedly attended the so called "Superclásico" (match between Boca Juniors and River Plate) in the mythical stadium "La Bombonera", recognized worldwide as the most important classic in the world of football.

In 2016 I have known one of the wonders of the world, The Iguazu Falls in Argentina.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach recipes and cooking techniques, I can teach a bit about photography (and learn from those who know), share travel experiences. I speak English, but I could use a little more practice. In turn, I can help practice Spanish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love talking about politics, sports, life experiences, trips, different cultures ... you always learn something new.
As a cook, I like to show the typical dishes of my country .. and also learn how to make those of the countries I visit!
Photography fascinates me, so I think it could be a good idea to share a photo tour around the city with the host if he wants it.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Paraguay, Portugal, Russian Federation, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay
