Overview
About Me
I'm just a simple Brazilian guy who gave up his old life to experience different things , such as meet new people, new cultures, and stunning landscapes
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The most important reason I've been using couchsurfing is sharing experiences and meeting new open-minded local friends or foreigners. Of course, saving money is a quite important topic as I'm planning traveling the world on a low budget, but is secondary if compared to the first.
Interests
Apart, photography, I'm keen on books, IT stuff in general, local culture, places off the beaten track
Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite English bands are Pink Floyd and Beatles (I know it's a cliche but they are the f... amazing, right? ), I also do like a 70's Brazilian band called :"Os novos Baianos", good lyrics mixed with amazing tipical Brazilian samba rythm
I have to favorite writers:
Machado de assis is my favorite Brazilian writer and William Shakespeare my favorite universal writer ever (both bring the respective languages to another level) . Also I have a tattoo on my backs from Shakespeare quote : "We are such stuff as dreams are made on"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Definitely, the most important thing I've done in the past few years was buying the flight ticket from Brazil to New Zealand. This single and simple act has tiggered new wishes as well as made me say goodbye to my unhappy routine in Brazil
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach a Portuguese as native speaker and very basic Spanish :) also photography as is my new passion, and maybe some boring Excel and spatial data analysis since I've done these for years (maybe I forgot something :) hope you don't mind it LOL)
