Hi my name is Eduardo and I love traveling, meeting new people and learning about different cultures and ways of living around the world. Aside from travel, in my free time I enjoy photography, long distance running, weight training, skiing, hiking and anything outdoorsy. I am also an avid reader and my favourite books to date are: The Fountainhead, House in the Sky and Things a Little Bird Told Me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always wanted to try couch surfing because I feel like I would be able to learn more about the city/country I am visiting if I stayed in a locals home vs. a hostel, airbnb or some other form of traditional accommodation. I am really looking forward to trying this out and seeing what wonderful people I meet along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2011 I walked El Camino de Santiago from France to Santiago de Compostella in Spain. This 800 KM pilgrimage is something that I am really proud of and hope to repeat in the future at some point.
