About Me

(✈️IF YOU ARE TRAVELING THROUGH CHILE-ARICA, EVEN IF I AM TRAVELING, MY PARENTS CAN ALSO HOST YOU IN THE LLUTA VALLEY, NEAR ARICA, OR I CAN LEAVE YOU THE KEYS🗝️ TO MY HOUSE IN THE CITY OF ARICA, OR YOU CAN ALSO STAY AT THE HOUSE OF SOME FRIENDS WHO ALSO LIKE TO HAVE GUESTS. I ARRIVE IN CHILE EVERY 5 TO 6 MONTHS FOR 2 WEEKS AND THEN I CONTINUE TRAVELING. DO NOT HESITATE TO SEND ME A MESSAGE IF YOU NEED A PLACE IN THE CITY OF THE ETERNAL FIRST 😊🌎)

Hello friends, Eduardo here, from the North of Chile. I consider myself an enterprising person. Friendly, good at conversation, cheerful and funny, very sincere, and with many stories and anecdotes to tell. Currently traveling through Asia, I began traveling indefinitely in June 2021, this time getting to know the countries more thoroughly. I've now traveled all of South America, Central America, North America, and part of Europe, seeing as much as possible by motorcycle 🏍️ or vehicle 🚘. I'm currently in Vietnam, Now in Asia, then I will get to know other continents that I have not yet explored..
I'm very open-minded and eager to explore and learn about a thousand cultures. I enjoy socializing and interacting the most, especially with local people, which is fabulous. I love meeting new people every day. It's like reading a book, a new story about each person, their culture, food, and everything related to their homeland.
I really like music.
I love singing all kinds of music styles... I play electronic and acoustic drums, percussion, and timpani.
I also love pets. My favorites are dogs and cats.
I'm actually a bit curious, and that makes me versatile. I know a little bit of everything in many trades and crafts.
Wherever I travel, I always take my metal detector so I discover treasures or jewelry... I'm always lucky; I've found gold and silver coins in ancient areas.
I started traveling and exploring the world when I was 19. Initially, I worked for a company for two years in my youth. During the course, I also took a course to become a police officer in Chile (carabinero), and I also served in that capacity for approximately two years.
I realized that with the salary I was earning, I wouldn't be able to travel at the pace I wanted, nor would I be able to buy my own house, at that time, on that salary. From that moment on, I took the initiative to take on freelance work of all kinds until I was able to establish something more stable. Thankfully, everything turned out very well. That way, I was able to fulfill my dream of freedom and more time to travel. It did cost me 20 to 22 hours of work a day, but it was worth the effort.
I worked for myself as a tow truck rescuer for cars and trucks in high-risk maneuvers and tragic accidents, an experience that involved a lot of help serving the community 24/7. I also taught myself business management and accounting. I have theoretical and practical knowledge in mechanics, electricity, electromechanics, welding, lathe work, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, architecture, and civil engineering (I can share this with my hosts or travelers, which I love).
I'm also fascinated by the rustic artisanal style; combining it with iron gives it a wonderful elegance. The colonial style is also interesting and beautiful.
As for Couchsurfing, it has been a wonderful family experience, and bonds have formed into a beautiful friendship.
I'll be attentive to your requests when you visit Chile, or wherever you indicate my location, I can offer accommodations, since I regularly rent or lease an apartment for a month or more when I travel to another country, if I really like the country I'm visiting at the time.
I always travel in a relaxed manner, not too planned or rushed, as relaxed as possible, since it's an open-ended trip for the moment.
I will continue traveling as much as possible under the circumstances, living the present to the fullest. We don't know what will happen tomorrow. So far, everything has been spectacular.
I'm here to be a good server on this global solidarity platform, where I strive to help as much as possible. I hope to meet everyone who contributes to this beautiful Couchsurfing group...
P.S.: I'm currently living in different countries. If I'm not in Chile, I'll be in other countries, living and exploring a little at a time. I'll be changing my place of residence frequently.
Best regards!!
(If you're in my country or city, don't hesitate to ask me any information; I'd be happy to help👌🏻🙏🏻🫂🇨🇱)
