Hello everyone! My name is Eduardo. I love to get out of my comfort zone, so I am up for any new experiences.
I enjoy yoga, salsa dancing, meditation, and working with computers.
I am a positive person that is always looking to make friends that enjoy having a good time. I am up for almost anything; I feel that our lives consist of our experiences for they are what evolve us.
I work in the IT field currently transitioning to the data science field. In my free time I focus on goals and developing new skills. I enjoy reading almost anythings: literature, autobiographies, how-to books, poetry, philosophy.

My philosophy is simple: carpe diem. It is easy to get lost in the everyday world with work and responsibilities. Life is partially negative but if you push yourself to be optimistic and positive then life is much more fun. When you stop unnecessary worrying, anxiety, or frustrations, you then feel how truly amazing life feels. Carpe Diem is simple, it's not easy but I strive for it every day.

I love to meet new people from around the world. Different people have different perspectives on life due to their culture or influences. I find it fascinating to interpret the world through someone else's eyes and that is why I have joined Couchsurfing.

Naming my type of music is like naming all of the foods that I enjoy. I enjoy almost all types of genres. Music is the medicine that cures me everyday. Nietzsche said it best, " Life without music would be a mistake." BUT just to name a few: The Strokes, The Killers, Interpol, Little Joy, Salsa music, Bachata music, Heavy Metal, Abba, Spanish Rock, MGMT, Flaming Lips, The Shins, 80's music... and so much more.

I enjoy reading about almost anything. I enjoy reading about great people in history: Alexander the Great, Marcus Aurelius, Rene Decartes. Philosophy: Epictetus, Seneca, Nietzsche, Albert Camus.Anything with astronomy. Some of my favorites are Atlas Shrugged, Behold A Pale Horse, Man's Search for Meaning, 1984, Brave New World, The Power of Now.

I used to be terrified of heights so I once decided to go skydiving, it was terrifying but I came out of it evolved. I have since chased that feeling of facing my fears.

I really enjoy dancing Salsa and I just started learning Bachata. It would be great to meet others who also enjoy dancing or are curious about dancing salsa and bachata.

I enjoy practicing Vipassana meditation and doing yoga as a way to de-stress.
