Overview
About Me
I'm a 25 year old guy from Portugal who's looking forward to meeting new places and and adventurous people! I really enjoy getting to know locals and their traditions, and also being able to share perspectives on all kinds of topics. I've learned that people make the places, and more important than visiting unforgettable places is getting to know unforgettable people!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Basically it's a way to have a much more natural and direct contact with the place I'm in. I surely enjoy tourism, but getting an "insider" perspective from the host or any one who's willing to teach me is just priceless!
Interests
My main interest is to really belong to a global village. Having gathered many friends from all the different corners of the world I really enjoy the open minded and adventurous spirit of those who are willing to share their culture and their experiences. I'm definitely one of those people, and given the opportunity, I'd love to meet new extraordinary people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: mainly pop music, but ranging from classical to rock too, and considering gospel and jazz for example.
Books: Suspense, Dramas, some young adult. Top choice would be The Picture of Dorian Grey and Animal Farm.
Movies: I could spend days and days watching movies as I'm trully passionate about the art of cinema. Top choices: 2001 a Space Odyssey, Requiem for a Dream and Irreversible. Top Directors: Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, Gasper Noé, among others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I scubadived in underground caverns in complete darkness in Mexico.
I saw the beautiful Secret of Rome through a keyhole.
I went on an adventure by myself on the East Coast of the US.
I saw Tony Bennett live at Radio City Music Hall and it was priceless!
Fun trivia: it wasn't amazing for those around me, but throughout my life I've fainted more than 24 times. Hereditary condition. Thanks Dad. Now it doesn't happen anymore, so no worries about that!
What I Can Share with Hosts
All my learnings from the different cultures I've visited, some fun trivia or more elaborate knowledge on Psychology and Social Psychology. I'm light spirited and very easy-going so I'm sure we'll get along just fine!
