Overview
About Me
I'm currently doing my undergraduate thesis and I'm finishing my major in Electrical Engineering by the end of 2017.
I always dreamed of travelling, meeting different people, making new friends around the world and knowing different places and cultures but I've never actually put these dreams into action. I've always told myself "after I finish high school I'll do this", "after I finish college...", "after I find a job...".
But I don't wanna just study, and work and live just to pay the bills and see life pass me by. So, when I heard of CS I decided to give it a try. It might be a great way to achieve these dreams I have.
Unfortunately I can't host anyone yet, but I'll try my best to change this, soon. Hosting people can be a nice way of knowing a different country without leaving mine :) But I'm up to hanging out and show a bit of my city and have a good time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Like I've said before I'm on CS because I want to meet different people, make new friends from all over the world and know different places and cultures and I want people to get to know my country and its culture too.
Interests
Recently I've discovered a new passion: running. It's a moment I can reflect and put my thoughts in order. It's like meditating in motion. I also like almost every kind of sports, from soccer to swimming, (american) football and rugby to basketball and so on. I also like to drink craft beer and being in nature.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I'm very (very) eclectic haha I like from rock to samba, pagode, MPB (Brazilian popular music)... I'm a fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I also love Pearl Jam, Of Monsters and Men, Mumford and Sons, Linkin Park, Florence and the Machine, etc
Books: Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Game of Thrones, Eragon, The Kite Runner... Currently I'm reading The Power of Habit and the next of my list is Mindfulness: A practical guide to finding peace in a frantic world.
Movies and television series: Forrest Gump, Into the Wild, Everest, The Godfather, In Time, The Barkley Marathons, Sons Of Anarchy, The Walking Dead, Vikings, Prison Break, Breaking Bad... It's really a long list haha
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to learn different languages as well as trying to teach Portuguese. But besides these kind of things I think what is really fun is the experience and cultural exchange. Currently I'm planning on starting to learn Italian
