About Me

An open-minded guy, trying to make the most out of life by meeting new people, visiting new places and learning new things every day. I believe tolerance, kindness and understanding are the key in any interaction.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's possibly one of the best ways to get to know a city, its culture, and what its citizens are like.

I'm gonna live in Toronto for a year, but I have to stay somewhere for 12 days before I move to a rented apartment of my own. Of course I'll make my couch available once I'm all set at my new home, to give other people the same opportunity I'm trying to take.

Interests

Nature, ecology, zoology, traveling, hiking, teaching, cooking, soccer, craft beer tasting and radical sports. Recently, I've been reading a lot about global economics and politics.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, it's tough picking favorites because I do have a diversified taste for these topics, but mainly...

Music: Hardcore and Metalcore

Movies: Sci-Fi and Fantasy

Books: J. R. R. Tolkien

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It depends on you definition of amazing ;)

But some of my most memorable experiences include:

- Visiting Vancouver and Whistler, while participating at the World Congress of Herpetology, where I delivered poster and oral presentations.

- Visiting some of the best Brazilin cities and landscapes, learning about each region's customs and lifestyle.

- Teaching English, Science, Biology and Ecology to +1500 kids, teens and adults over the course of 9 years.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been studying to become a beer sommelier for the last 5 years, and I have comprehensive knowledge on beer tasting and pairing, which I would gladly share with my hosts.

I'm willing to teach Brazilian Portuguese and talk about my country anytime.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, I suppose I can show a little bit of me and my culture by making typical food and drinks from Brazil. I'd certainly help out with cleaning, cooking, shopping for groceries and more.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Canada, Paraguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
