About Me

I would describe myself as friendly and open minded, funny and energetic, yet deeply spiritual and self-aware. I really like meeting new people and listening to whatever awesome stories they have to share.

I would love to hear from your cool adventures, bitter or sweet experiences, goals you're currently striving for, crazy dreams, any regrets or personal set backs you're overcoming, honestly anything! My main goal while hosting would be to make you feel at home, even if you're miles away from your birthplace.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Getting to know people from around has the power of shaping who you are, and gives a true sense of plenitude. I love giving myself to others and making them feel happy and at home.

Interests

I love singing and reading. I can dance too for sure, but nothing professional haha. Listening and talking would definitely be among my priorities as well, it's a good way of getting to know people. Conversations can go from oneself, to politics, movies, travelling experiences, and even sports too (though I'm not very good at them). If time and opportunity allow it, I like having that kind of deep conversation about cultural things and life's mysteries.

Music, Movies, and Books

1. Music: possibly ballad songs (they are the ones that suit my voice better). But I can definitely listen to some cool pop/electro, R and B, soft rock.
2. Movies: Any Meryl Streep film would do just fine by me. I typically crave for some big drama or social/political oriented movies, but I'm quite open for any type actually.
3. Books: self help ones or psychology themed are my favorites. Those that make you question yourself about how you live and why you do it like that automatically, fascinate me. I can add this: I've really changed quite a few personality traits in me and some old routines I had, due to my daily reading.

I'll be more than happy to hear what your favorites are in each category. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- In travelling: visiting the Swiss Alps, experiencing the Eiffel Tower for the first time, staying with locals in more than 12 countries during my Europe erasmus program, meeting people abroad that are now my best friends.
- In my life: dedicating each of my days to what I love the most: teaching.
- In general: feeling here and now. No future exists, one can make plans around it and set goals in it, but all we have is today.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach spanish for sure if interested. Perhaps some cool salsa dance moves would do too and some cooking recipes (though I'm no professional in the kitchen). Also, I could offer cool hiking adventures in the many mountains we have. :)

I would love to learn:
- The most I can from your language.
- Any cultural aspects of your country and daily life.
- If willing to share: your passions, dreams and ambitions.
- A typical dish from your birthplace.
