Independent movies, Rock, Reggae, Bossa Nova, Brazilian Music, baroque... and so much more.
Well, books, I prefer the ones into politics and foreign affairs or fiction based on fact, like The turning point or From the Native's Point of View. In Meaning in Anthropology... I love it :P

I'm not that into fantasy books like Harry Potter, for this purpose I prefer movies :)
