About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Currently based in Chile. I´m gonna be travelling around Europe from mid April until end of June, partly visiting new places, partly working, I'm always up for meeting new people, getting a real sense of each local culture and the people.

ABOUT ME

I work as an entrepreneur in Chile, developing engineering projects related with renewable energy, sustainability and architecture. Down to earth person, who loves discovering new places, photography, art and history. Always active and up to meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The opportunity to meet locals and stay as a local in a different places gives a really different insight about culture, people, food, etc, which is hard to get as a tourist.

Interests

I do like a lot of stuff, mainly because it's hard for me to be concentrated in anything specific, more like a diverse mind.
So, I really like to solve technical problems, or to find the ¨elegant solution¨ to anything, I really try hard to think outside of the box, and doing engineering helps me a lot.
On the other hand, I am highly interested in art, history, psychology, travel, architecture. In order to give some time of my life to that, fortunately i work with a friend who is an architect, I learn a lot from him, I try to make some time to travel (like now) I started to sketching some things while travelling, to keep them as memories, I love going to museums, I carry my camera around, taking photos of anything special, interesting or of those epic moments... and I usually really like to catch the real sense of culture of the locals from the place I'm visiting, that's why sometimes i prefer CS instead of a hostel.
Working out is also part of my routine, not anymore while I'm travelling, but at least I walk a lot, i think that should compensate something...

Oh' Also I'm carrying a notebook with me, trying to get information from the locals and people travelling, about their countries or cities, that interesting information that usually is interesting to have as a topic of conversation..

Music, Movies, and Books

Good old rock, recently I`ve been more into electronic (for some reason is good for concentration), latin party, salsa, and actually many many different styles.

I usually read a lot, but I never make a list of the, sometimes i didn´t even finish what I'm reading because I start something else.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To ride Chilean Patagonia with my bike, and friends, it IS amazing.
I started my own company, high risk, financially talking.
I earned a scholarship to study in the UK, it was great, of course the greatest experiences were outside of the university.
Walking alone around the whole city of Cairo, Egypt, what an experience.
Built a solar powered car with my team.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm very good listening stories, rather than talking about mine usually, but people keep saying I always have something interesting to tell them, about history, fun facts, or just random things :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Scotland, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Chile, England, Germany
