About Me

I was born in Mexico and moved to Slovakia after graduating from University. I have been traveling non-stop since I was 24 years old. Now I have traveled to 134 countries.

Traveling changed me so much, and now I see life in a different way, this is why I am a little bit different than most people. I don't drink alcohol, not even a little bit. In fact, I never drank alcohol in my life. I meditate daily, I am vegan, and try to be as healthy as possible, in a natural way. I don't expect anyone to be like me, I respect all types of people, but please understand that my place is used for meditation, so if you stay at my place, I would ask you to avoid any alcohol, cigarettes, or drugs during your stay. If you can respect these rules, you are free to do anything you want.

If I have time, I can show you the city, I can cook for you, and you could use my bike. I live alone, around 3 km from the city center. I can offer you only a small place to sleep, with a little bit of privacy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started using Couchsurfing many years ago, I traveled to many places and I met many people. It has been a great tool to get to know places and people.

An amazing moment was when I went to Morocco and I saw people living a very different way that I never imagined before.

When I was in Uganda living with a family, cooking and having their traditions, the best experience I could have in Africa.

When I walked a long distance in the jungle to see an animal in extinction danger, gorillas, the most amazing was when the big male was taking care of a 2 days old baby gorilla.

When I visited an African tribe called Masai famous for having big ears and wearing red clothes, it was not easy but after talking to a translator and the boss of the tribe I got one picture with the oldest women of the tribe.

Another nice moment was in Kenya when I saw two baby lions waiting for their mother, and suddenly the mother comes to the rescue.

When I was climbing a mountain for several hours in Greenland and finally I arrived at the top and I could see the other side of the mountain and there were many more mountains, snow, icebergs, and ice.

One of the best moments in my life was when I was in Greenland, it was dark, I was trying to find a place with food and suddenly I saw the sky and there were some green lights, then more colors appeared all over the sky, it was the Aurora Borealis.

When I was in Jordan walking between the mountains in the hidden city of Petra, sleeping on the beach, and spending amazing time with Jordanian people that I met on the street.
