About Me

Hi all,
I am Edu, I am a 24 years old consultant, but I do not think that's important here. I got the opportunity of living out of my country for three years: 2,5 years in Norway and half a year in Denmark. Now I came back to Spain, where I am from , as I got a job opportunity here. However, my mind lives half its time abroad, I never stop thinking of travelling, and that may be more important of what I do for a life.

Nowadays, I have a motto which I try to follow: "Find yourself, lose yourself and then find others", so here I am, trying to lose myself all around the world while trying to figure out a little bit what life is about

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I value people over luxury and comfortability, so I prefer to get new friends and new points of view about life rather than a huge room with everything I (do not) need. I am here to meet people, and the best thing of this network is that most of you reading this have so many things in common with me which I would like to know.

Interests

As many of the people here in CouchSurfing, I love travelling.
I Play rugby here in Madrid, but I did It took in Norway.
I also love talking about everything in general and nothing in particular.

Music, Movies, and Books

Everyday I have to spend a couple of hours on a train as my work is far from where I live, and I nowadays I have taken that as an advantage. I have read many books, from "The fear of a wise man" to different poetry authors.
Books teach me how to focus, how to read for pure enjoyment and not because it is useful for a successful life.

That was about books, but I also listen to many different kinds of music. One day I can listen to Tracy Chapman, another one Jack Johnson and the third day I can listen to Hardstyle or Rap music. Depending on my energy by the moment I start listening, I literally feel the music which I want to listen. I would say that music is one of the most important pillars of my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once in a rugby tour in Stavanger (Norway) We decided to go up to the Preikestolen, one of these amazing fjords' view. It was rainy and foggy, and in the way up, after walking under the rain, I had the good luck of falling into a river. I did the way down half naked. It does not seem quite incredible, but for most of my friends it was incredibly funny, so it was not so bad. There is a pictura with an NTUI flag, the guy in red sweater is me!

Teach, Learn, Share

Apart from the common things such as: language and travelling, which for sure I can share, I am an enthusiast person who likes to talk and also learn about almost everything.
