About Me
Hello there!
My name is Eduardo, I'm 21 years old and I am an exchange student studying Civil Engineering in the University of Birmingham.
I don't consider myself a party guy, only go to parties like once or twice a month, so I usually prefer going somewhere where I can drink some beers, have some delicious food and laugh about life with some background music on.
I also enjoy doing things by myself like watching a movie or walk around the city centre. Not anti-social, I just like to have some time for myself.
PS: I'm traveling, so as soon as I arrive in Birmingham, I'll start accepting guests!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Trade experience! I'm an exchange student and I want to get to know different people with different cultures because I think that will make me a better person.
Interests
I like to play games (Priston Tale is my favorite one now - it's a MMPORG) and I know the names of almost every Pokémon. (That's the only nerd part of me haha)
I also like to watch movies and TV series, so if you know a great one, tell me! Perhaps I haven't watched it yet, so I will definitely put it on my list :).
Music is always with me and I've been in love with Spotify for weeks because I'm getting the chance to know some amazing artists out there.
I also love food!! And sleep hahaha. I still can't believe that sleep is one of the best things in the world and it is free.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I listen to at least 3-4 songs of Coldplay everyday, which makes them the best band for me. I'm also listening a lot to Ed Sheeran lately and I think Taylor Swift has some incredible songs (not the pop ones, they are ok for their purpose in my opinion).
And there's this singer that has a special place in my heart and she is Britney Spears. She has some good songs for working out by the way.
Movies:
I have problems on focus if something isn't interesting, so it's hard to watch a movie that really wows me. I stick to the fantasy and Marvel ones like Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, The Avengers and the new Spider Man one.
But my favorite type is drama. The Perks of Being a Wallflower and (500) Days of Summer are good ones.
Books:
I've read a few books in my entire life, because my parents and siblings don't like to, so I started to appreciate books after go to college. I would be lying if I write here that I have a favorite book, but The Fault in Our Stars and the last Harry Potter book are the ones that I enjoyed the most. There's also a portuguese one, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't translated to english (yet...).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, maybe when I flew on a balloon in Kapadokya, Turkey. Not sure if that counts, but it was absolutely incredible.
About helping people, I never did something big. I like to help everyone everyday, even if they are strangers. Small things everyday is better than one big thing once in a while, that's my motto.
