About Me
Ciao!
My name's Eduardo, I was born in Cuzco the city of Machu Pichu.
After few months of my life I was adopted from my Italian family, I spent my childhood between Genova and Palermo... I don't speak Spanish, but some sicilian dialect OF COURSE :-)
I live in Milan where I work as web designer and social media manager.
I love to explore: just walking around, taking pictures or checking Tripadvisor for the best restaurant it's not enough for me. I need to explore deeper, to know hidden places, underground clubs, to go where just a local person could brings you.
Couchsurfing gave me a lot of amazing moments and adventures: climbing to the top floor of a bombed building in Sarajevo to admire the city, finding an after party in the early morning next to Etna volcano in Catania, walking two hours in the forest surrounded by monkeys and wild cows to reach a beautiful hidden beach in Hong Kong... and much much more.
I wish to meet many new surfers and hosts, to share my experiences and learn new things from them.
Bye for now and see you soon :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got lost in Hong Kong the first day I arrived for my Study Overseas Program....with death phone, no money and no right info for any address.
It was Friday, we were around 100 international students just landed in Asia from all over the World, everybody so excited to discover this huge city. So what was the firt thing to plan right after we arrived? Let's go to a party all together.
We went for a while to the students campus and then straight to Wanchai District, the party area of Hong Kong Island.
I met some locals, I stayed with them, doing a pub/club crawl and suddenly it was already morning.
All the other students and buddies (all new people for me) have already left the place...I was alone and I didn't know where to go (just the name of the University which opens on Monday and it was Saturday morning) or who I could contact since the phone was death (I didn't have any contact of anybody by the way). Plus my wallet was empty and I couldn't catch a taxi.
I started to walk, catching random metro, buses and trams: I was trying to recognize any street or building which I have passed by some hours before .... in addition I had a super strong hangover.
It took me almost 4 hours but at the end I found the accommodation... actually that wasn't amazing, it was a MIRACLE!!
