ABOUT ME

I am a guy from california who loves to do something diffrent or challenging whenever possible. I get calmer when the world around me is going crazy and I get restless when the world around me is too calm. I love to not only go places but explore them, get to know at least one thing that a normal visitor might never find. Also, I like a good conversation and will seek out a new fiend or conversation whenever I can. I have an open mind and it is one of the things I value most about my personality. I hope to meet new people and make more good friends durring my travels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy surfing and helping people and hope to open up my own couch to surfers as soon as I move to northern California in a few weeks.

Interests

Hiking, Backpacking in the wilderness, traveling, photography, languages, talking, listening, learning, listening to music I've never heard before, exploring, reading, EATING, telling stories, really getting to know a new place, finding beauty in everyday things, looking at buildings and figuring out how they were built, fixing things,making things, helping people,giving hugs, cooking, and most of all: pushing myself to do something new and difficult in a different place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An experiance I am truly blessed to have had is sitting on a little beach on midsummer's night in Jyvaskyla and watching the sun touch the horizon and come back up again as it glimmered off the lake in a kind of erie twilight. All this sitting next to my awesome Finnish girlfriend.
