OLÁ/HELLO/HOLA, sou EDU!

PRimeiramente Fora Temer:
Nasci na Espanha mas levo rolando o mundo desde 2013. ja morei em São Paulo, Londres e agora João Pessoa.
Sou músico e estou interessado nas culturas populares do mundo inteiro, por isso que agora comecei um mestrado em antropologia, para complementar meu conhecimento sobre musica e culturas.
Adoro cozinhar, comer, ler, conhecer gente nova, descobrir lugares, etc. Sou fã de espaços organizados e limpos. Gosto de passar a manhã limpando e depois cozinhar algo bom para comemorar!
Gosto de ouvir e compartilhar experiências, historias de viagens, anedotas... Só não tolero discriminações e preconceito de nem um tipo, nem sequer quando "era brincadeira".
Como musico, sempre levo instrumentos comigo, então qualquer hora é boa para puxar um show, um sonzinho, um coco. Ler é minha paixão assim como também dançar e desenhar.
Poderia continuar a falar de mim até amanhã, mas acho melhor continuar a apresentação num papo de bar, com uma cerveja gelada na mesa, né?!

EN: I was born in Barcelona, but in the last 5 years I have been living in many places, from London to São Paulo, and now I've just moved to João Pessoa.
I'm a musician interested in popular cultures, folklore, and traditional music, in particular, the ones from the Nordeste.

Who does not love music? Who does not like to dance, to read, to share a beer and good thoughts?
I could say many things about me but... I feel like everyone ends up saying the same things in here, right? So I would rather talk about myself face to face, sharing a beer in a bar or at home and then hear what you have to say about yourself :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

PT: Bom, primeiramente acho que é uma forma muito massa de conhecer gente nova e afim ao meu estilo de vida. Na real nunca fiz Coachsurfing antes, esta é a primeira vez... sempre ouví amigos falar muito bem da plataforma e finalmente me decidi a tentar!
Também acho uma forma incrível de conhecer o lugar que visito, com gente local, que conhece bem os cantos e as esquinas do lugar.

EN: I'm currently studying a post-graduate in visual anthropology in the UFPB (Universidade Federal da Paraíba), before that, I was travelling around for almost a year.

I'm currently living alone in a flat and sometimes it gets TOO boring and silent; so I thought it could be a good idea to share time and space with "unknown" people, I'm sure it's gonna be an interesting experience.
On the other hand, I love traveling and I find Couchsurfing the perfect tool for meeting lovely persons, other cultures, different food, music, experiences in general.

Music, Movies, and Books

PT: Na verdade nunca teve um álbum favorito, nem um livro nem tampouco um filme, ja que estou continuamente descobrindo e me apaixonando por novos livros, músicas e filmes. A minha curiosidade é infinita...
Agora mesmo estou escutando muito um album de Tigran Hamasyan, Arve Henriksen, Eivind Aarset & Jan Bang chamado "Atmospheres" (aquí vai o link do Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zJwS2aABMA)
Também estou lendo um livro sobre Antropologia Visual de Ronaldo Mathias.
E assistindo muito cinema etnográfico e de "autor" (Jean Rouch, Kiarostami, Tarkovsky, Kurosawa, Herzog, etc.)

Teach, Learn, Share

PT: Posso compartilhar meus conhecimentos de musica, de espanhol e inglês... posso compartilhar meus conhecimentos gastronômicos com muita ilusão.
Hà pouco comecei a me interessar pela medicina natural e o uso das plantas curativas, raízes, sementes, etc. assim como me intriga a astrologia e a astronomia, fui acumulando alguns conhecimentos que também posso compartilhar!
Sou uma pessoa que gosta muito de aprender e muito curioso, estou disposto a aprender qualquer coisa, sempre que seja para fins positivos!

I've recently got interested in medicinal plants, roots, seeds as well as in astronomy and astrology.
I know how to dance Sardanes (a Catalan traditional dance), Coco de Praia and Forró. I've been told that I'm not a good teacher, but we can give it a try!
