My name is Edvardas, and I'm 26 years old. I work as a communication manager for companies in the sustainability sector.

Although I've only hosted once, it gave me a deep appreciation for why Couchsurfing is so rewarding. Helping travelers is an incredible experience!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

It's easy! Because I adore traveling and I want to make friends, learn or just find something interesting or unusual. And of course for ADVENTURE (I love this word)!

At the university I'm mentor of foreigners who come to Lithuania. I always love to help people when I can do that.
Sometimes even very small help from local person is better then whole internet.

I love indie, rock, alternative, 80's, 90's, pop. But I can listen almost anything and it is really depends from the mood.
Favourite movies: Slumdog Millionaire, Into the Wild, The Truman Show.
Books: Arthur Conan Doyle books, The Fateful Adventures of the Good Soldier Švejk During the World War.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

We traveled from Lithuania to Finland by bicycles with my brother. We didn't have good bikes or preparation, but we made it. It was crazy and really fun!

The best thing I did until now, was taking a gap year. I worked as a waiter in Cyprus, volunteering in Portugal and Vietnam, travelled in Iceland and Morroco. This year completely changed my life and understanding about the world.
