Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a great first experience in Fukuoka, Japan. My host was super. Since then I have had many more positive experiences.

Interests

EXERCISE:
These days I try to swim 1.6km twice per week. Sometimes I do pushups and pull ups and run a couple miles after swimming.

KOREAN LANGUAGE:
I study Korean because it is a dream of mine to speak two languages fluently. I started when I was 30 years old and lived in South Korea from 2006-2012. I passed level 4 of the Test of Korean Proficiency back in 2011. I'd say that, by now, I'm an intermediate Korean speaker.

TRAVELING IN KOREA:
There is a lot one can do in Korea on weekends. You can take a 5 hour bus ride all the way to Busan from Seoul for about 35,000 Won. While living in Korea, I was able to go to the following places or events:
