I have recently finished my studies at Vilnius University where I studied Financial and Actuarial Mathematics. Currently I work as programmer with financial databases. More than anything I love seeing new things and places and hearing new ideas :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed for a week in Paris and three days in Napoli.

Interests

Traveling, of course, above all.
I love playing boardgames, chess, card games, especially ones I haven't played yet.
Besides that I'm interested in new technologies, science and mathematics.
I love learning new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, The Who, Queen, Serj Tankian, The Seatbelts, Cage the Elephant, Nina Simone, Arcade Fire, lots of Lithuanian artists
Movies/TV: I watch a looot of movies and TV shows. A huge fan of Doctor Who.
Books: I read quite a lot, bought a Kindle for that reason. Sci-fi is my favorite, but I love all genres :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent three days in the most amazing mountain village in the world - Niederthai, Austria!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can't say that I'm an 'expert' at anything (yet!), but it's hard to find a field I don't have at least some knowledge in, as I looove learning new stuff.
I'm a decent chess player and that's something I could teach if anyone was ever interested.
