Lithuanian by birth and origin. Moved to sunny Spain when at the age of eighteen and spent good part of my wild younger days there. For the last six years fortune was smiling (not that it wasn't before) to me and I have lived in bonny Scotland since 2012.

Travelling is my passion. Mountains and nature reserves, cities and towns, historical places, seaside... anything goes really. 'The beauty is in the eye of the beholder' and I love all that my eyes see, heart feels and mind learns about.

I love getting to know people from different countries, cultures, languages, belief systems and ways of being. The more I get to know, the more I appreciate what I find. The more different kinds I meet, the more similarities between us all I see.

Think of myself as an open and outgoing person, although appreciation for my own time is there too. I like solitude and I find company of different kind in it.

I am fortunate enough to have many stories of life to share, but also I am a good listener. My life experince says that the best way to learn new is to keep my ears more open than my mouth. This approach rarely lets me down.

I got two little ones and they are my Life, my Joy, my Love, my everything. Zane and Leia. If I host you I hope you get a chance to meet them. Most amazing pair of kids I have ever met :)
If you host me, I am sure at some point of the conversation I will get my phone out and will start showing you some pictures of them. If I get carried away, please let me know. I do that often.

I love all things spirtual. To be honest I see spiritual and divine in the most simple, every day things like food cooking, numbers of the houses, people talking, cars passing by and so on.
I love learning psychology, new microbiology, religious thought and ancient teachings, new energy science, neuroscience and all of the in between. All that helps me understand the laws that underpin the mechanisms of this most beautiful and creative universe.

More than anything I love learning from people and their ways of living lives, dealing with stuff and sharing Joy. To me we are all coming from the same source. More conscious understanding of our unity, similarity and connectivity, in my belief may pave the way for new Hope and new Peace.

I love audiobooks, cycling, hiking, reading, writing in my diary, drawing random visualisations, cooking stuff I have never made before and being outdoors. Above all playing with kids. Music is my other passion. Don't you think life would be very plain if there was no sound vibrations?

Anyway, I think it is enough here. I am sure we get to share more ideas, stories, concepts and other forms of good energy when we meet. I am truly looking forward to it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At the end of July 2019, I am embarking on a spiritual pilgrimage across the European continent. Scotland to Jerusalem.
I hope to use Couchsurfing platform to help me meet new people and learn more about local culture of the places I will visit.
I am pretty new to this platform, but I sure hope to get many visitors when back in Scotland.
It truly is the coolest way of connecting to local peeps and diving straight into the heart of the place one is visiting.
I wish I had known it before. It also kind of keeps growing on me as I keep travelling.
