About Me
Hi, I'm Ed!
I recently graduated from the University of St Andrews in Scotland, where I studied a Masters in International Security. Before that, I studied an undergraduate in International Relations at the University of Exeter. Because of all my 'international' study, I am very keen on travelling and seeing the world!
I live near London and I spend my days at home reading books and helping my Dad in the garden with landscape work, such as trimming the trees. I will be joining the British Army as an officer soon, but am using my time now to travel and enjoy myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to do as much travelling as possible in a more affordable way. I also want the opportunity to meet hosts and get to know different people. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories and Couchsurfing will give me a great opportunity to do so!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was studying at St Andrews, a flatmate and I hitchhiked from Glasgow to Munich in 3 days for charity. We talked our way onto trains, we were picked up by all sorts of different people and even slept in a service station one night. We managed to raise over £400 for 3 different charities, including MSF.
