In September 2012 I bought a backpack, stuffed it with whatever I could, moved everything else I owned into a storage unit in Salford, and headed west. Supposedly a 6 week trip, it's still ongoing more than 11 years later, with only the occasional few weeks break in either London, Delhi, or Melbourne (officially homes these days)...

CORONA UPDATE. After 3 months of Thailand lock down in 2020, I'm back on the road, travelling wherever possible, sensibly and safely. I follow all local guidelines where I am, and I'm also triple vaccinated 💉💉💉

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm not American so I don't do 'amazing' things. I did go to North Korea though, which ppl think is pretty awesome, and I've effectively created a Guinness world record by crossing the entirety of Africa using only local public transport... I'm quite proud of that too...
